Mr. Parrella established the Managed Services/Saas Sales  for Verdasys (Now Digital Guardian), a Boston-based company with enterprise network security software installed in many Fortune 2000 companies.  Prior to joining the company, he was a senior team lead for Information security at GE Capital Americas.  He also served as Chief Technology Officer for Artera, a company involved in the development and deployment of network acceleration software.  Mr. Parrella is listed as an inventor on two of the Artera patent filings. Operationally, Mr. Parrella was responsible for the architecture, deployment and efficiency of the Artera network.  He wan an integral part of the Artera sales team in a pre-sales technical function and interfacing with senior technical staff of potential channel partners.  Mr. Parrella graduated from American University in Washington, DC with a business degree.
